Recovery

After a TCA peel, it is common to experience some temporary flaking or scaling, redness and dryness of the skin.  These conditions disappear as the skin adjusts to treatment. Depending on the strength of the TCA solution, it may also cause significant swelling.  You’ll be enjoying new skin within 5 to 10 days.

Results

Improvements from TCA peels are that your skin will be noticeably fresher looking and smoother.   With continued treatments, you will notice a general improvement in the texture of your skin. However, the benefits of TCA peels are usually not as long-lasting as those of phenol peels.
